course information Fall 2026
All classes will be in-seat at the ARS building at 2686 Dean Drive, Virginia Beach, VA. All registrations must be completed by Tuesday, September 15th so that the class materials can be ordered and delivered by the start of classes.
Students must be present in order to receive a certificate as per state requirements.

International Mechanical Code Class: (3 day in seat class)
Sept. 29th - Oct. 1st, from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
(24) Students maximum $695 each
Basic AC & Refrigeration Class: (3 day in seat class)
Oct. 6th - 8th, from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
(24) Students maximum $725 each
Basic Controls Class: (3 day in seat class)
Oct. 13th - 15th, from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
(24) Students maximum $695 each
Advanced Controls Class: (3 Days)
* Pre-requisite: Must have completed Basic Controls Class
Oct. 20th - 22nd, from 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
(In seat class with hands on 24 VAC live training boards using meters to diagnose and troubleshoot)
The maximum student capacity for Advanced Controls is 24 Students and is based on pre-registration
including payment $695 per student.
*Classes are certified as DPOR vocational credit hours and available for any organization upon request.
All books and materials for the above classes are provided. * IMC & IFGC State Exams require additional materials
